    Rampage vs Rashad

    http://www.ufc.com/index.cfm?fa=news.detail&gid=79371

I dont think Ive ever heard so much talk between 2 UFC fighters. Theres been a few that have talked some shit, but man this has been a long time coming. I think Rampage fuc'd up by taking all this time off. You dont want to get in the ring with someone as motivated as Rashad, with such a good camp and have ring rust.

^^^^agreed- i love rampage, he was a monster in pride, and ko'd lidell (whoopy) but rashad has hands like lidell but takes it better. You can't hold machita's ko on rashad against rashad, machita is one of the best fighters alive, he and anderson silva are great friends, and unfortunately even though that would be fight of the year, silva and machita say they won't fight eachother....

    C'mon rampage bring it back,

    "dirty d"

p.s.- sugar probably has this cuz jackson gases out (forest griffin) and rashad can handle the rounds. But i've seen jackson take multiple soccer kicks to the face by shogun in pride and not go out, so it will be tough. Watch out for evans overhand right like lidell throws

I really dont think Evans will even engage Rampage. He will back peddle and throw counters, probably go for take downs and so on until the final bell rings.

As other shave stated, we just want to see these guys hurt each other.

Here is the thing with this fight:

    On Paper:

    Rampage wins hands down.He is:

    -Larger
    -Stronger
    -Has better hands
    -More KO power
-IMO Actually has better "MMA Wrestling"
    -A SICK chin

His weakness, leg kicks, cause he likes to keep his feet planted to generate power behind his strikes.

Ring Rust is going to be the biggest thing here....

But, Rampage also did not get much time before he was thrown to the dogs when he first joined the UFC before beating Liddel and Henderson.

I really think Rampage had this fight right after TUF, but no so confident now.

IMO: Rashad still can't knock out Page. The guy has an amazing chin, and Rashad will not sub him, Page is too crafty and strong on the ground for Rashad.

Rashad by split or Page by KO is how it goes kids.

With it being 3 rounds, I'd favor Rashad cause he's not going in looking for a KO. He's going in to score points, Page is going in to take a head off.

If you are not watching the fight, and you hear it ends in rounds 1, 2 or 3, Page won. If it goes to the judges, Rashad.

Rashad continues to improve every time he fights. Jackson should not have any ring rust as I'm sure he has stayed in shape. He mentioned he had injuries and needed the time off so he might come back stronger and have his mind back in the game.

Rashad is quicker than Jackson and Greg Jackson's preparation should be the difference in the fight.

The pics I've seen on Rampage over the last couple of months have shown him packing on the pounds but in fairness a lot of LHW's do that between bouts, specially one's as naturally big as Rampage.
Still think Rampage could do with a warm up fight before taking on Rashad.

I don't know who will win. But by christ it's going to be good And the mockings are hilarious. Gayshad, gayshad even's rampage is a funny man and a dangerous one but he is really in fighting imo for the money. He showed his hand at the Ultimate Fighter that he wasn't a couch or a leader to be honest and only really cared about himself. But it was one of the funniest Ultimate fighter series ever.

I thought he caught a lot of shit over TUF.

Rampage is a fighter and just a gifted athlete.

You can see he got frustrated when his team lost, lost, and lost again. Who would not after loosing 6 fights in a row?

Also, because he's just a gifted athlete, things come easy to him. Even Micheal Jordan was frustrated when he was president of operations for the Wizards, so frustrated that he came out of retirement to show them how it's done.

You could also, say his frustration, actually shows he cares...

Bad coach or not who cares like u said above he's a gifted fighter TUF is at the end of the day and entertainment reality TV show and that is what you get from Rampage pure entertainment.
He's not the greatest fighter ever but a great PPV pull, I for one cannot wait to see him back fighting. Remember there's not long for Rampage left as fighter he's already said he wont be going much past 33/34

That is one way of spining it. And as you say things come easy to him but he said in the ultimate fighter to Rashad and I quote "I'm not a coach, that's why I got these guys here" which were two lads behind him that were allegadly coachs. But as you say it is frustrating to lose constantly but he should have at least inspired his team to try and win.
