    Best cycle for Functional Strength???

    What cycle, in your opinion, is the best for Functional Strength? It is for someone leaving for the Military (Special Ops training)....if you were in his shoes, what would be your last cycle before you left??

    first off.. wrong forum completely

    second, AAS are in my opinion bad to take before going into most of the military spec ops programs. working out without would probably do just as well.. extra muscle put on at the last min will hurt more than help.

    then again it all depends what you are calling spec ops..

    quarry206 ....thanks for the reply...i know normally this would not be the right form, but i wanted to ask the MMA/Boxing guys/girls, as they are what i would consider the best at Functional training. My client is leaving for the Military (First Time) in October....he is going Army, then into the Ranger Program...and needs to make it through....what kind of training do you think would benefit him the most? HIIT? Wind Sprints? Weights?

    some steroids can make you bigger or stronger than others but none will give you more "functional" strength than an other. What I mean by that is functional strength comes down to training.

    I think what you are looking for is a cycle that will give strength gains without adding too much size and weight?

    graeme87.....exactly.....im looking for strength, and increased endurance, while not putting on any weight....and ideally even dropping some fat.

    Just a simple test cycle would be fine.

    Putting on weight is dependant on diet but drugs like dbol, adrol, deca will bloat you so they are not a good idea.

    test, eq, var, halo are all good options even tren but that can hurt endurance.

    Will this be his first cycle?

    before ranger school you don't want too much extra muscle, your body will eat it up, and the extra weight might hurt you on the long days.

    ranger school is a leadership course and is based alot on thinking when you are dead tired or when you are craving calories or food. the extra muscle would require extra calories...there for extra muscle might hurt somebody in ranger school..

    always remember being a ranger, and going to ranger school are two different things, and therefore should be treated different.
