UFC and WEC should have kept them seperated
Over the past few years i have grown to really like WEC, found the concept really cool with the light weights and feather weight.
They have grown on there own and showed that they have some pertty amazing fighters that can actually draw.
I really think its sad that UFC and WEC merdge togheter, i really wonder if the PPV will be longer and how many fights will feature WEC fighters.

yah we were talking about it on another thread. I am very worried that UFC will ruin the WEC quality that we have grown to appreciate.

100% agreed,
I am not going to pay 55 bucks anytime I want to see a fight, Zuffa and Dana White are a bunch of assholes and may destroy MMA, I know they did it a world of good in the early days but in the past years they are completely consumed by their own greed and thier endless struggle to create a stranglehold on MMA should be investigated by the courts. I sure hope on day MMA fighters manage to band together to get the kind of pay they deserve. Compare the income from PPV on pro boxing to the fighters purses and you can't deny its time the fighters fight back.
PS The Kid rocked at the lighter wieght.

I feel the opposite, I think its going to make ppv's SO much better and those guys will make more money because of bigger events. Im very excited, got some good ppv's coming !!

Not sure if the merge was just the names of the companies, because Wec next PPV is still advertised WEC event and not combined with UFC.
That would be great to hold seperate events, i would not mind UFC having 1-2 bouts with Wec fighters in them. But not to the point of removing Wec completely.
