Wraps or Gloves? Which do you prefer?

So I have a pair of old wraps that are wearing out and I am thinking about getting a new pair. I was thinking about getting some gloves kinda like this: http://www.amazon.com/Everlast-EverG...1168750&sr=1-6

But I wasn't sure how well the supported the wrists which is the important thing to me. Also I heard that the gel gloves bust real easy though the reviews don't seem to indicate that.

Which do you prefer? I want wrist support but also something fast to put on. And that lasts a while.

I've used wraps ever since I can remember.

Just make sure they are at least 180" and semi-elastic.

No no. Maybe I should have clarified. This is for marital arts. Not for lifting.

use wraps for sparring, they support the bones in your hand from spreading while impacting plus if you wrap them right your knuckes feel harder through the gloves

I have smalll wrists, I can't hit anything hard without wrapping. Take the time to look after the joints, it will be worth it later IMO.

Also depands on what you are hitting.
