New to steroids - Almost pro MMA
Hello,
Let me start out by saying i am new here.... I have my last amatuer fight in November before going pro. I have made huge strides in my conditioning and strength training over the last 2 years. My question is... is it possible to 1. take steroids and have decent strength gains without gaining 10 lbs? 2. Will a cycle of steroids burn off the last bit of fat i have ( i am about 9% BF) while adding muscles? 3. Can i keep my strength gains perminitly if i continue to workout without steroids? 4. Would i be better off waiting until i have a pro fight and time it correctly to avoid detection obviously. Or should i just stay away from roids all together? ive come a long way naturally and do not want to ruin my health. but my goal would be to completly lean up by adding muscle obviously... and keeping any and all strength gains. are my expectations realistic? i have done a lot of research on steroids and am seriously considering taking them but maybe its not the right time. i have never done steroids before... any input from someone who has used steroids would be greatly appreciated. thankyou.
23 almost 24 years old
6'2" 195 lbs. fight at 185 lbs.

Hi and welcome most of your questions can be answered by diet changes you put weight on or off by controlling your macros decreasing body fat % is also done this way whilst upping your cardio.
At 24 and for what you want I think steroids should be put on hold for a year or 2.
Your strength will increase on cycle.
test only cycle is advisable for a first time user with pct to follow.
Follow the threads gather as much info you can before making any decisions
Good luck !!

stick with a low dose test cycle
If people can't tell your on steroids then your doing them wrong

Usually fighters or people training for something use a short ester so it's out of their system fast in case they get tested

1.They don't test for roids in pro mma until you are in UFC or somewhere it actually matters
2. Don't bother with them if you don't have to. You must be doing well without them already why add them in?
3. Having to much muscle looks good but is counter productive to conditioning and will sap oxygen quickly leaving you ready to be knocked out, look at most pro fighters at the top they are athletic build so you can see muscle but not shredded anywhere less then 10-12%
4. Steroids will also affect conditioning in most cases, I believe eq might be good for stamina but most others ruin it.
Just my 2c and I have pro mma and pro boxing cards

alot of shows test besides UFC
Yes more muscle requires more oxygen. But all steroids increase RBC not just eq. In fact EQ can raise it way to much to where it hurts you.
a low dose test will increase recovery time. Will help with some endurance. If people can't tell your on steroids then your doing them wrong
