Hello all I have a question. I’m going to that Krav Maga instructor school end of March. I’m 58 and I train hard lifting weights but I had a defensive tactics class the other day for 4 hours and at the end we had to do a one minute round of kicks, elbows, punches you name it against people with bags coming at you from all directions. At the end I was spent.
I don’t do cardio since I’m trying to get some size right now. What do you suggest I do that will get me prepared to complete the program and not die in the middle??

Agreed. Cardio (in moderation) will not stop you. It will also strengthen your heart, which should help you lift more and ultimately make more gains.

How about arrange your workouts in large circuits with minimal/no rest between exercises.

I’m gaining size and do 45 minutes cardio daily before my weight training.
