speed drills
Im lookin to walk on at a smaller school next year, D3 or NAIA but Im gonna need to get bigger and faster if I want to stand a lagit shot at actually cracking the depth chart in this life time. right now im 19, 5"11 160 and one year removed from HS. Throwin a ball about mid to low 60's yard wise consistantly and running a high 4.6 40. I've been approched with some offers for deca and d-bol but declined thus far... any opionions/suggestions on what i should do?... and if i do decide to ever accept the dec and D how would i stack it/ what kinda work out should i use? Max bench right now is only around 190ish... goal right now is to not embarrass myself 11 months down the road, a flat 4.6 and 250+ on bench would be nice too tho.

at 160 lb should run a 4.4 flat what are you shooting for as a weight? at 190 4.6 should be an "ok" speed when you get where you are going they can develop you. Besides working out and getting hammies and your a-s-s strong should make you alot faster. you looking to play WR or RB, there was this 17 year old kid at a camp who ran like 4.2 at 150 lbs, he was lightning fast, which he pretty much has to be to have any d-1 recruiting he will probably just be a return specialist if anything at that size.

You can't catorgorize speed with how much someone weighs. Body composition has a lot to do with that,as well as genetics and work ethnic.
Plus theres a big difference between d1 and d3. Size matters in d1.They arent going to want a linebacker thats 5'9 200 pounds regardless if he ran a 4.3. If you want to be a quarterback its more about your range and power. Scrambling qb's have short lives in big colleges, unless they are extremely gifted.

DCB- if u have a decent bulker for me please feel free to write it down
Sicknasty- I play QB thats why i said how far i was throwin it... if i ran a sub 4.5 i could prolly walk on as is... He was prolly more around a 4.4, someone got a lilttle trigger happy with the stop watch
Good2be- make it $1,000
Im about 90% sure im not goin with the Deca /D-bol deal but i still wouldnt mind seein what a stack of the 2 would look like
