Mitchell Report!! my boy Clemens named :-(

Ya know the list came out, and I dont care hes still a great one!! you cant tell me those names are the only ones who used AS. thats BS i guarentee 90% of the major leauge players were on some sort of AS..

he proved himself in the 80's and 90's and then in 01-02 when he started he was just the same.. you have to admit the AS only kept him in the game a year or two longer, but it didnt win his CY youngs for himhe did that himself.. so its BS that that claim he is only good cause of them... BS!!!!

I can't believe more people aren't talking about this. Mods, is this not an ok subject to talk about?

If it's cool, ESPN put out a great little summary of all the named players and what they've admitted to so you guys don't have to read the entire report:

    Cool Baseball and Gear

As a former professional baseball player, I can tell you without any reservation that every player that I knew (and they lifted weights seriously) tried some sort of gear at one time or another. Since I live in San Diego, CA guys would ask me to get them this or that in Tiajuana. I didn't want to spend my off season running back and forth to TJ, so I only got stuff for closer teammates and friends. And keep in mind this was in the mid 80's. Guys from the Dominican, Mexico, etc. would come to spring training bigger (and some that had Cushingoids Syndrome so bad that they actually grew 3 or 4 hat sizes), and they didn't even know how to drive iron. We all knew what they doing. But see, in baseball, there are a whole lot more failures that you never hear about. If you didn't have the talent and success to make it to the show, no amount of gear was going to make you instantly a star, much less a Hall of Famer. I feel for the guys today that are becoming the faces of this steroid era, simply because they had outstanding major league careers.
So anyone that points fingers and says anything about another player is an A**hole and a Punk for life.
Do you really think Cal Ripken could play in over 2,500 consecutive games without some sort of recovery help? If so, you're kidding yourself or very naive!

Eh, Cal Ripken sure he has the Male pattern baldness going but he is a stickman.. I am having a hard believing he was juicing. Dood has no water retention what so ever in his pics Unlike Hippopotamusbonds.

Let's just say Cal Ripken never used a "Banned Substance" and leave it at that. LOL

Pooks: I think you have a hard time just keeping up with the conversation. Get back to the kids table, and let grown folk talk!

Here is a quote from the part about Clemens. We all kmow this is bs because 4 shots of win over several weeks wont do anything.

'McNamee injected Clemens approximately four times in the buttocks over a several-week period with needles that Clemens provided.'
