please help an amateur with carb and water
Hey guys I´m a modell and i´m going to have pictures taken of me in two weeks. I know you bodybuilders carb down than up and no salt and water etc... I´ve read some of the threds on this but Im a newbie and I dont have so much muscle im 165lbs (and thats me in the picture) can You guys give some advice?? does´nt have to be comlicated, just something that you know works fearly well

Simple reply:
For the next 10 days drop you complex carbs and go only with veggies.
Then 4 days out add back on a few complex carbs each day maybe 25 to 30 grams per day( oats, yams etc). Train and do all your cardio so you will deplete yourself.
Keep your water high 1 1/2 to 2 gal a day for the next 13 days.
Then the day before the photo shoot stop drinking volume at 5 or 6 pm or 18 hours before photo shoot. Just sipe a few oz with meals till after the shoot.
You could add in some dandelion root for a few days leading in to help dry you out.
No sodium tricks from me.
Short and sweet.

I said 4 days out to start to add back in complex carbs. I gave you a guide line only. If you can deal with more carbs per day then go for it. Just spread them out over the day.

Do you want to pig out and have a nice bloated mid section?
Maybe you should just stay full now keep carbs up for the next 10 days and drop water only. If you are in shape today with a nice mid section i would just eat a nice normal diet up carbs slightly, keep cardio up and just drop water the night before. Try the dandelion like I suggested.
I think you are too hung up on what a body builder might do going into a show. You are not in the say situation as a depleted body builder.

Thank you, actually got some dandelion No I think your first suggestion sounded very good!... will go with a lean diet, and cut the water 18h pre-photo like you said
