    creatine??

hey all, (eyecandy, derek and mikexxl esp.) couple of questions

    1. i am seven weeks out and was wondering if i should start taking creatine and if so when should i stop.

    2. what is the latest time that i should be eating carbs. i have been tapering them off after my evening workout, but was wondering if a 1/2 cup oats is good at about 930 or 10ish.

thanks again for all your help

depends, creatine no big deal i don't think might cut it about 10 days out, does cause water retention for most. 1/2 oats may be ok but again depends on person, try it if you are still droping great, if not cut it out again.

    well, since you're begging...

Creatine makes me hold more water than the hoover dam...the times i have used it, 2 days after dropping it, i have lost 5 lbs every time...that's just me, though, but i would play it safe and if you are going to use it, give yourself plenty of time to get rid of the water

Depending on when you train...9:30/10:00 pm is pretty late to be eating carbs (unless they're veggies) even on a non pre-contest diet...unless you go to bed at 4 am

I stop creatine about 2 weeks out. As for the carbs at night, it depends on how you look. If your lean and your metabolism is racing than I see no problem eating carbs that late, however if your not as lean as you think you should be I would consider cutting them 30 minutes prior to your evening cardio session, if you dont have an evening cardio session then no later than 4 hours before you go to bed..
