Thumbs up Looking for great posing music..any suggestions

Was hoping that we can all come together on this one..and put together some great posing music options. What have you used if you have competed and if not what have you heard that you really enjoyed?

My training partner used the theme from "CONAN". It was very powerful. Check it out.

I also like "What's my name" by DMX.

    Hope this helps bro!

Thw worst ones I've seen were "Unchained Melody","Macarana Mix", and "Eye of the Tiger", and they were all male contestants. Make sure you stay clear of those tracks.hehe

Dion Warwick!...I'll never love this way again!

    U2!...One

Both have a nice slow tempo coupled by a climax in the song.

    AC DC... Ride on!

Just pick something that will fit your personality...if you have no rhythm and pose like a robot, don't choose a song that you have to do a lot of transitions...if you are a bantamwt, don't pose to something heavy metalish that is best left for the freaks

I am very anti-slow songs for even the best posers...

I'm sure that helped a lot

    Primodonna

Hey Primo!...don't you like the posing routines of Frank Zane, Ed Corney and Chris Dickerson...I think even Shawn Ray poses to more subtle music and they all look fantastic...or is it that you personally do not like it slow?

I'm not saying the ones who pose to slow music don't have great physiques...but from a pure entertainment perspective (which is what the routine really is), it puts me to sleep...unless it starts out slow (~15 seconds) and you can tell it's building up to something fast

How about Macho Man by The Village People ?

    just kidding shredz....

I like a combo of songs, and it makes it better if the music is from one band. If you have the use of someone that knows how to cut and mix from CD's I have a suggestion....

    Pet Shop Boys "Very" album....

    Slow song posing...Liberation
faster part....One and One makes Five
    Strong conclusion....One in a million

    Good music, try a listen.

I agree with primo slow music is not appealing to the audience, you have to pick something upbeat. I myself like heavy beats that build up into loud music and throwing alot of most musculars around. If you watch any show thats what get the people going. The night routines are as much for them as they are for you. Represent and give them what they want.

    Freestyler - Bombfunk MC's
    Du Hast - Rammstein
    Bodies - Drowning Pool

Pete, I think Bodies is what I'm going to pose to. Has a nice start that you can walk out to and a good beat w/ some heavy hits to it.

i stand alone by godsmack. i saw someone pose to this song and it rocked. but for it to work good you have to hit your poses hard. but i think that is the perfect song for poses

I possed to a mix of Puff Daddy's "come with me" and Green Day's "brain stew". It was hard and powerful. They were part of the Godzilla sound track so there were some screams from the big lizard.

I would love to get my hands on the new Austin Mini comercial's music. Being a small fry I think it would work well for me.

"Come With Me" by Puff Daddy and Jimmy Page. Kevin Levrone posed to this at the 99' Mr. Olympia and it was freakin' awesome!

This is what I'm using this year and its very easy to pose to, Metallica-For Whom The Bell Tolls fromt their Ride The Lightning album. I was also thinking about Metallica-Wherever I May Roam from their self titled album but ended up going with Bells for my first show, probably gonna try Roam next show. I think that any, well not any but alot of metal songs are good to pose to instead of fucking rap.

    Shredz,

Here is a good one ACDC's WHO MADE WHO. Almost anyone can pose to it and it's hardcore. It gets the audience fired up at the same time. Try something from ROB ZOMBIE. Slow music can drag and bring people down especially if they before you ROCKED. It can also be hard to cue your moves to different climaxes of a slow song. Electrify them instead!!! Oh, and what ever you do NEVER use anything that's top 10 on the radio.....its just a BB's rule. If you plan to use slow LOVE music than you might as well order some burgandy velvet posing trunks. LOL STICK TO HARD CORE SH*T!!! You can't go wrong, I promise!
