Diueretic for my first show...

I was recommended aldactone(sp?). Is that all I will be needing? I know absolutely nothing about diuretics.

With Aldactone you have too start it at least 7 days out and it will effect your carb up. If its your first show try Traxatone. I have heard many althates geting good results with this product.

Help with dose MrMen1on, use 18 hours before show when you cut you water. Expect to be up all night going to the toilet. Then it can be used on the morning of the show if required.

Here is what I do, i drink 2 gallons of water and cut water 5pm take 2 caps, then at 10 pm take 1 cap and upon waking up saturday morning take another cap just for insurance. that works well for me. cannot tell yo uif that will work for you but i believe it should.

I am with MrMent1on, dyazide or Aldectizide, start them friday before the show and it's enough for most to dry you right out...i don't like long use of aldectone as it will excreet sodium out of your body your ability to properly digest carbs and carb up will be diminished, and it will make it hard to fill up...good luc...25mg of Dyazide or Aldactized 3-4 time before the show, should be planty...XXL

I got my hands on some Lasix for free. Can you direct me to some info I could read maybe about that? Also, your personal opinion on the item?

What would be the best time too take the Aldectizide ??

You said 3-4 times, so if a pre-judgeing was at 1.30pm Sat and I was cutting my water at 6pm Fri. What times for the 3-4 tabs or did you mean all in one go ??

NOT all at once...i would take first dose of 25mg 1 hour before cutting water...and the additional dose every 6-8 hours, you must monitor your condition or better yet have someone do it for you, once you are dry i would recomend redusing the dose to 12.5mg just to maintain the conditions...good luck...XXL

I would not cut water that early, at the earliest 12:00pm-1:30pm (lunch) on friday in reality 18 hours before the show is planty for most, in any case i would take my first dose 1 hour before cutting water, it takes about 1hour for the diuretic to work...and then a dose every 6-8 hours depending on your conditioning, DO NOT TAKE TO MUCH as it will flaten you out and make you look worst...good luck...XXL

Are you guys getting you're kidneys checked before you take all this stuff?
Mass you know the difference between HYPERkalemia and HYPOkalemia? If you don't i suggest you go look it up.
Duiretics are dangerous. If you'er gonna take em know exactly what to expect when you do.
