Hi,
Just about a week away from competing. I normally use aldactone for the last 4-5 days before a show to get rid of the last water under the skin. Unfortunately this sometimes can cause a flat look to the muscles. I read an article that suggested taking aldactone in a different way to avoid the flat look. If you have 1 week before the show and your just carrying a bit of water take the aldactone day 1-3 on day 4 stop the aldactone and carb up for the last 3 days before your show, still maintaining the same water intake. Doing this allows the muscles to replenish with water and glycogen providing the full look. I must admit i tend to look better three days after a show after eating normally again. Sorry for the long winded question but does anyone agree with this or have experience doing this?
Cheers
AS
