newb here with a few questions

First of all I was reading in the cardio that you may not to workout on a emply stomach because your body will burn muscle too? I like to jog in the morning.

Second question, please look at my workout schedule and let me know what ya think.

    Monday:chest+back
    tue:abs, foreams, cardio
    wed:shoulders legs
    thur: same as tue
    friday: arms bis and tri's.
sat and sun are off. I try to let my muscles heal for 24 hours before lifting hard again.

And third, after chest workouts my tri's feel like they did most of the work. Am I holding the bar to close?

    thanks

first of all, give us some stats and your goals, are you just looking to trim down or are you entering a comp. with the right info we'll get ya squared away in no time.
second you could be holding it a bit to close, try and really focus on squeezing your chest, try and crush a walnut in between your tits.

Thanks, I will try to hold my grib further apart. I am looking to trim down, I have a beer belly and I am sick of it. I would also like to get more cut. I do reps of 10-12 on every excerise. Should I do higher to get more cut?

You should never workout on an empty stomach always have some carbs at least 1 hour before working out th enorm is 100grams of carbs (ultra fuel) if your not prepping for a competition, and bro do not jog. running burns muscles. the cardio you read about, we all were talking about walking

When it comes to workout I believe to each his own, whatever works for you however I'm a big fan of working large muscle together with small muscles i.e. chest/tri's and back/bi's those small groups are the secondary muscles being worked so why not just continue while they are well warmed up with just 2 exercises.

It sound as if you are indeed holding the bar too close. try a wider grip. the tri's are the secondary muscles at work here this is the reason why I stated to work the tri's with chest

the most important thing thats going to impact whether you get cut is your diet. thats 60% of the equation

MrMent1on, thanks for the advice and tips. I will quit jogging, what about the cycle in the gym? Shouldn't that burn fat and build leg muscle? I will watch my diet more, but if I am watching my diet will reps to 12 get me cut?
