Power vs bodybuilding?
i have been powerlifting for about 1 years now and i was thinking of moving to bodybuilding, as a found when i did bodybuilding the traning and feeling was alot better.
but i was wandering if anyone knew the answer to my question that is, if i take on bodybuilding will i become sloweras in muscle contraction speed etc.

no....but training is similiar yet very different...some of the best bodybuilders have made the transition as you have and sometimes still enter meets...but they are two very different sports...look up franco colombo or jonnie jackson....both have a powerlifting background

I powerlifted for 8 years.just switch over to bodybuilding this year.was kind of depressing for a while only being able to bench 405,compared to 606 last year.but I feel beter loosing all the bodyfat,and the excitement of training for a compitition is still there.plus I get around alot easy 45 lb lighter.
