    Almonds...Raw or Roasted

    when adding almonds to your contest prep, do they need to be raw or can you use the ones that are roasted.

    Raw is a better chioce that roasted.

    sorry to bring up such an old thread but after reading so many threads i still couldn't come to a conclusion.

    while raw is a better choice, is roasted or smoked all that bad? or is just "not as good"

    hmm how much would that be then? "much" is a bit vague..
    are 90% of the nutrients lost when roasted or smtn or what..? that kinda thing..
