    24 hours out!!! Im so freakin nervous!!!

    I changed alot!! Some of the changes MrMent1on said are as follows: ZERO carbs Sunday, Monday Tuesday, I was not perfect but I never went over 30 carbs so far. Im doing cardo in the AM on the treadmill speed is 3.5 and the incline is 14 twice a day.The Aldactone is now Monday-25mg, Tuesday-50mg, wednesday-50mg, thursday-75gm, Friday-100mg and saturday 25mg first thing in the morning. (that dosage schedule came from MIKE XXL). Since this change occured I dropped 12lbs. I start my carb load Wednesday with my meals like this. Wednesday: 4oz lean ground beef, 4oz yams 3 X's a day. 5oz chicken breast 1/2 cup rice 3X's a day. Thursday and Friday the same but more rice and more yams each day. Last meal on Friday night is 2 whole eggs with cheese and TBSP of peanut butter. Im drinking 1 1/2 to 2 gallons of water each day and sips on Friday and none on Saturday. My meal today looked like this. 18 egg whites, 2 scoops Isolite whey protein, 8 oz extra lean 98% ground turkey, 4 oz Tuna (sushi style w/o rice) and 6 oz extra lean 98% ground turkey, 1 oz eel (sushi style w/o rice). 1230 cal. 230 protein, 8 carbs and 10 fat. My show is this Saturday and I'd like to post some more pictures this friday for help. Please let me know what Im doing wrong or right now. Thank you very much for all the help.

    OK Carlos E. What did i do wrong, is it the fact that I ate 30 carbs or I should be eating more carbs. If you read Mr Ment1on post he said "ZERO" carbs. Im trying to follow the advice of everyone, but nobody has the same advice. it usually differs quite a bit on everything from Aldactone to diet to cardo. At some point you got to just pick somebody and go with it and hope for the best.

    That advice was specific given to you because of your situation, anyone that doesnt know you situation will tell you otherwise, so use your head accordingly.

    You said you followed his advice. He said 0gs of carbs, you had 30g. That's cheating your diet.

    just stick to the plan.getting so close to the meet everyone gets worried and starts to second guess themselves and everyone around them.the worst thing you could do is to try changing the plan.good luck bro,you work hard .try to have fun and learn from your mistakes.

    yes I cheated

    Yes I cheated, let me explain... My Aldactone and Anavar are usually mixed with grapefruit juice. Im sure you know all about grapefruit juice and it's obsorbtion properities 30 carbs. Come on give me a break I dropped 12 lbs in about 1 1/2 weeks and a total of 19 in 4 weeks. I'll post pictures friday, one day before the show of my girlfriend and myself and tell me if I dont look 10X's better.she is doing the womans figure A class. I'll bet anyone on this site she places 1st in her class and places overall.

    One last thing: My coach gave me a diet of Lean ground beef and chicken breast for the protein, do you think its OK to use the Chicken from restarunt El Polo Loco, its flame broiled? My only concern is the sodium, its about 540 in fact here are all the nutrition facts for one chicken breast skin removed Calories 153, Fat 4, Saturated fat 1, sodium 540, carbs 0, protein 29

    One last thing I keep reading on this site to continue drinking water thru friday gallon +, I bought this book called "GAME OVER" "The final showtime cut diet you'll ever need" the book says Thursday 3/4 gallon and Friday sips on water thats it. Anyone?

    I always cut water at 18 hours and do NOT like gadual water dropiing, that's my way, but hey what do i know i never wrote a book...or did I...

    stick to one aproach bro. your gonna go crazy trying to see what everyone has to say. I know people that tapper water down from wednesday. and i personaly dont think i hold a lot of water cuase i drink 3 gallons a day so once i cut 18 hours that should be fine. plus you need that water to fill up the muscles withs the carbs (glycogens) from your carb up. however like mike said if your not lean enough this will make you look soft.

    Just got back from the store to buy the next 2 days meals. Chicken Breast (bonelss skinless) Salmon and lean beef. Ha Ha I just bought my saturday morning meal too. sausage, slice of peacon pie,and 2 small eclares. Saturday morning 6:00 AM my meal is eggs with cheese on it, milk, and 3 small sausage links and 2 eclaires. yummy. I'm bringing the peacon pie and a candy bar with me to the show,How soon before I go on stage do I eat that.

    I don't know about the milk, and if you aren't ripped to the bone, I'd be careful with that meal. .

    The whole point of 0carbs was to deplete yourself, by going with 30carbs you pretty much F'ed that up.

    Maybe I pretty much F'ed that up

    I think I may have given everybody the wrong impression. Im 42 years old. I dont intend to do this much longer if I ever do a show again. I just want to go out and have fun. My only chance is in the Masters and from what i saw at the July show and last year I will do just fine. I admit I did not do this diet perfect, far from it but after this Saturday Im done.I will give it my very best and I have a REAL good feeling about placing in the top 3. I will post more pictures tomorrow after the Pro Tan and please give me your honest opinion. I did lose about 15lbs since that picture was taken.

    Yeah, I'm not for sure what you are trying to accomplish with that meal? It looks like a fat load? I just don't think fat loads work unless you are nasty ripped, which you might be. Also, you probably haven't had milk or dairy the duration of your diet and to introduce it the morning of the show might cause some bloat. I just don't see much of anything in that meal that could improve your physique. . . other than it will taste great!

    Man do not drink milk. Milk is a no no pre contest. 3 weeks out I ran out of protein shakes and went to the store to buy more. They were out of the brand so the guy gave me one he said was the same. He was wrong. It had milk in it. I drank one shake, and an hour later looked in the mirror. I was watery nasty and bloated. My stomach was so bloated I looked pregnant. Your body has not had milk in a long time. Don't introduce it now.

    If im taking 100 mg of Aldatone should I still shot for 2 gallons of water today.
    oh my schedule looked like this Monday-25mg, Tuesday-50mg, wednesday-50mg, thursday-75gm, Friday-100mg and saturday 25mg first thing in the morning. thanks
