Protan, Dream tan, or any other sh$t like that bro. I said the same thing untill I saw Marcus Ruhl. His back is F-up, that dream tan covers everything on stage.

Fake tanning solutions cover well...
But it depends on the extent of the disfiguration.
Tans can't cover uneven skin texture.
Still.. of course guys will compete regardless of what scars they have if they love the sport enough.
