Are any of the scales that use BIA to measure body fat % accurate?

I went to a fitness convention last year and there was one that takes points from your hands and feet, which would make it more accurate than others.

For the most part though I would say that none that are less than a few thousand dollars are anywhere near accurate.

in my studies at college, now this was mid 80's now, the most accurate method was ( and may still be) hydrostatic wei***ng, followed by skin calipers ( 7 site) and the least accurate was electrical impedance. we used only the calipers and hydrostatic methods.
