Hello Gang,
My wife and i both are competing in the show... I will be a novice middleweight and masters over 35... The wife will be competing in figures... Chad and Kim Nicholls are classy people. I met them at the Arkansas State Championships last year where I also competed as a novice middleweight.
The Nicholls put on a good show and are giving out Swords as trophies this year. I met Melvin Anthony in Arkansas and looking forward to meeting Ronnie and Gunter again. The competition site is awesome... Cant remember the name off hand, but the pics on the net represent a very nice stage and seating.
The Arkansas show ran an hour or more behind schedule.. That was my only complaint... Kim was about to pop with a baby and Chad was running around like a mad man... Hopefully, things will be a bit more organized...
This is a pre show for the wife and I ... we are competing again in June in our home town...

Wish i would have read this post before the show. It would have been nice meeting you. I think I know who you are. Good Routine in the FINALS. The show was a great expericance for my wife and i both. I won FIRST in the Mens Novice Middelweight - Third in the Masters 35. My wife won second in the Medium Class Figures. I think your LADY won first. Congrats to you both.
It was unfortunate that i didnt get to meet MFT81. Hey, bud... I pulled it off ! All the way from Iraq, can you beleive it ? The only complaint was the mix up on the call out at the finals.
Over all great show and experiance. Steeping into the OPEN class now. My wife and i are doing the Northwest Arkansas Classic on June 9th. Its a regional show - NON National Qual... HOME TOWN !!!!

Hey avi, I took a few photos of you in the finals and throughout the night, when my friend emails them to me Ill get em to you,
I had you pegged just like the judges, 1st, in masters, Crazy deep field for the middleweights, cool that they judged them live,
what went through your head when you placed 4th? I was like WTF??
anyway, good show, great job!!

Hey Bud,
I wish i could have met you bro. I appreciate the support while in Iraq. Yeah, Kim thru me for a loop when she read 4th... I looked at the judges and they all shook their heads. I knew at that point that there was a mistake. I looked at the score cards after the show at the Marriot. I came in a little flat at prejudging. Nothing a good seasoned steak and loaded baked potatoe couldnt fix... They all had me #1 at the finals and only two marked me second in prejudging. The rest marked #1 !!!! I felt bad for the guy who thought he won First. Oh well, mistakes happen. Bottom line, MY HARD WORK PAID OFF. Moving in the open class now... IM STOKED
