when my contest is approaching, should I train differently?
should I start doing supersets and trisets for the last 8 weeks before a contest? what workout approach should I take as a contest nears? are supersets and trisets good for getting ripped?

You should definitely continue lifting heavy and hard. You will find that as you cut your carbs down, your strength might decrease, but that shouldn't stop you from going heavy up until a week out from the show.
