    Contest Tanning and Oil

What are your recommendations for contest tanning products? Protan, Dream Tan, Jan Tana? what does your application schedule look like? Also, what oil do you use? If you just use Pam, will that f*@! up the tanning products?

    Pro-Tan...one coat Thursday night...2-3 Friday
    Dream Tan...Saturday morning

You don't need any oil if you use Dream Tan IMO

I used jan tana and it sucks, I have never used dream tan because I have so much Jan Tana I probably be using it until 2010 just to use it up. Anyway EC and Primo both had great color for thier shows, so I would take thier suggestions.

I am planning on using protan thursday night after my shower. I then plan on showering sometime during the day on friday and applyng 1-2 more coats of protan friday night. (I will not be applying any protan to my face, hands, and feet during these applications). I then plan on using a protan bronzer on my face, hands, feet and entire body the morning of the show. The questions is should I shower before applying this bronzer?

    Thanks for any input.

My one experience with Pam was a big mistake....did not cover evenly and looked crappy

I did like the look of the posing oil ; blotching it with a towel after applying. Now it looked good

Don't put protan on you elbows or knees either Dam, just one VERY thin coat on those areas. Shower after all your coats of protan are on friday night seems to even out the tan.

I'm a big jan tana fan. Fiest time out I tried pro tan it took 6 coats and I was still too light.
Now I go with 1 coat show tan (do not shower it off)
Then two coats competition tan. 1 Fri. night then 1 Sat morning.
This makes me dark enough.. Then the great thing is Saturday night when I shower all the comp tan comes off and you have a nice base of show tan for a ew days.
The pro tan is a bitch to getr off. I always do several shows in a row like 3 or 4 weekends in a row. You must start fresh each week.
With Jan Tana I have no problems. I will say Your Jan tana must be fresh. Old stuff will not work.

    Good luck,
