Posing as excercise
Arnold was the biggest advocate for posing as excersice. He'd said that in the weeks up to a contest that one should spend hours posing (he was specific, recommending four hours daily). Can you imagine that kind of time investment? I can although it's not realistic when you have other obligations. Nevertheless, I'm going to incorporate isotension into my routine. Anyone here have experience with extensive posing as compared to the absence of posing?

i think this sounds like a really good idea; i've heard more than several comments from young competitors at my gym of how challenging proper posing is. looking at the posted link to the posing video on bodybuilding.com and countless hours of looking at Arnold's encyclopedia, it is clear that posing is a huge part of overall package and deserves to have a dedicated plan of preparation. It would probably be a little weird to pose with a heart rate monitor on, but I wonder how much of a workout it does in fact provide.
best of luck.
