When carbing up before a show,.. were you guys really tired?
My training partner is competing tomorrow. We have been dieting down together.
We are now carbo loading... and I am so tired... we both are... we keep napping so when can get up and eat... we both thought we would have all this energy... and we were wrong.
Can anyone explain why we are so tired? Is my body just so overtrained from all this dieting that it is just very tired,... and it is just spending all it's energy packing those carbs in my muscles ?
Anyone? Experiences please?

Tired not sure why. maybe from all slin your body is releasing for the carbs. I am was so wired i don't sleep last week at all.

It is just a flactuations in your blood sugar levels and a constant release of insulin by the body, when you eat a lot of carbs you tend to get sleepy a lot...nothing to worry about...XXL

silly me... should have thought about it some more... exo slin makes me sleepy... so having high endo insulin levels after such a long period with low levels...
