Competing with a tattoo, Will it hide the defenition?

I feel this a dumb question. But If I will be competing and I have tattoo's all over will this be a points deduction? will it hide my defenition?

If there are any here with big tattoo that compete's whats your experience?

Most are not very visible once you get pro-tan on. Ones with a lot of black ink or really large ones on the back or quads definately can blur your conditioning.

Thanks fireguy! Oh well , I will still try, not expecting to win anyway just for experience and to push myself to train more.

This is something I have been battling myself also. I am trying my hardest to become a competitive BB. One step at a time. I know its what I wanna do. I have quite a few hurdles to launch myself over before any of this becomes a reality more than a DREAM. will achieve it. I have to.

But I am heavily tattooed... My leg has a huge huge piece. Thank god it is on my hammy and not my Quad. I still have the ability to slam my quad into action without the tat interupting it.

I also have sleeve work done. I was told that the tan process that a Competitive BB goes through will hide 98 percent of whatever I have so I am not too worried about it. But like u I am worried. I try not to let it get to me. Its one of the many things that i need not focus on now.. RIGHT NOW IS FOCUS TIME ON GETTING MY BODY into competitive form... worrying about the ink on my body will come later. But its good to hear that the tan will take care of most of what I have.

i will not be a big problem just make sure you are not gonna try t hide them to mutch by putting on to mutch tanning stuff this will probably hurt you defenition more than the tatoo will

Regardless... I am heavily tattooed and I REFUSE to let that get in the way of me competing.. if they want to look down on me because I have INK in my skin than ta hell with them... ink should not have an effect on what my muscles look like... or how defined I am or how much HARD WORK AND DEDICATION i have put into my body to be able to step onto that stage... Yes the spray on tan will hide the majority of it.. but I have a lot of HEAVY black work and I doubt that it will all be 100% covered... maybe 90% but I don't care .. I am not going to give up the love of my body art to compete and vice versa.. I feel I can handle both quite WELL.. when I get to the point of competition the MAN with the BEST BODY should WIN .. not the MAN with the least amount of tattoos... ya know what I am saying.. IN MY EYES.. That would be discrimination... but hey the final say is in the judges... so when the time comes.. we shall see.. we shall see..
