Cool So Guess WHAT I did TONIGHT....

I HIRED A PERSONAL BODYBUILDING COACH TO TEACH ME HOW TO POSE.. YOU KNOW.. THE BASICS.. BECAUSE WELL.. TO BE HONEST.. I DID NOT KNOW THE FIRST THING ABOUT AND SEEINGS HOW I HAVE A CONTEST THAT I AM PREPPING FOR IN 39 WEEKS.. I FIGURED I NEEDED TO LEARN THIS STUFF SO I COULD START PRACTICING IT ON A DAILY BASIS...

It went AWESOMELY to say the Least, I loved it.. It was probably the MOST fun I have had in over 12 months... (Aside from extracurricular activities with the wife...) I went over all the BASIC Poses.. FOOT-WORK.. EVERYTHING.. I just can't believe it.. IT'S ALL COMING TOGETHER...

Tonight I took one step CLOSER to my DREAM... I don't know if my Trainer is just supposed to say it but he said I was a natural and what I picked up and learned in just an HOUR session tonight takes MOST people like 3-4 hour long sessions to get down...

What I need to work on though.. the most important thing he told me I need to FOCUS on is... Getting my LATS to Pop... I have the Hardest time getting them to work FOR me not AGAINST me... but he also said EVERYONE usually struggles with this in the beginning.. but He also said my Bread and Butter Poses are the MOST MUSCULAR and "when I can get it POP correctly..." my FRONT LAT SPREAD... He also said my Tricep and Serattus(sp?) Poses were pretty damn Good...

Well I just felt like sharing this with everyone and I put it here in this forum because well.. because I wanted to see if ANYONE had any TIPS or something they could shoot my way that would help me in my journey...

    Thanks Bros

Cool post. I'm doing my first show next spring and I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one having trouble with lat spreads. I've also been told to listen to just one person. If you take in advice from everyone you'll be second guessing yourself the whole way.

    Good luck friend .

I believe from the little I learned is that its harder than it looks , Composing yourself in a fluid motion , flexing to extenuate as much muscle as possible . People that have tried it have a great deal more of respect for the competitors !
