I am only at 165 and i take less than 1/3 cup--1/3 cup=75g carbs

meanining if you weigh 175lbs. you would take 52-70g of dextrose post training
My mistake... it should be .4 - .5 during a bulking phase... meaning 70-85g post-workout for a 175lb. lifter.

Go to a local wine and beer making shop. They sell by weight there and it's super cheap. I just use gatorade or powerade powder myself. Pretty much the same thing.
I put in between 60-90grams in with 40 grams of protein after a workout. This is in a bulking phase, but really, I do this while cutting too. Well maybe between 40-60 when cutting actually.
Your body needs simple carbs after a workout. Won't turn into fat or anything. Simple carbs are actually more important than protein after a workout.

Any one have opion on taking it before and during workout ???? Ive been told this is awsome for pump druing workout! I use pedilite but its expensive!
Dextrose is a powder and looks just like white sugar. Tastes a bit sweeter. I bought some last week at a bulk food shop.
I'd be carefull taking some before or during a workout. Might give you a quick energy burst, but then make you feel real weak. I've put 10-20 grams of it before with 30 grams of protein and sipped on it while working out before and it seemed to work. I usually just workout with a 1 litre jug that has 20-30 grams of protein in it. Then take another 40g and of protein after my workout with 60g+ of dextrose.
That is me in the avatar. That pic was taken a month ago when I was down to around 190lbs before a show. I'm around 205 now and not quite as cut. It's real hard to stay that lean and grow![]()
