competition diet
hello,
not sure if i should post in this section or the diet section.
29yrs old, 6ft, 17.2 stone down from 18.5.
i have my first competition coming up in mid july. I have been steadily losing weight (hopefully just fat) for the past 2 months using this diet,
7am
30g of oats+6 whole eggs
10am
40g whey protein mixed with water+1gram cod liver oil
12.30pm
chicken breast+salad+1gram cod liver oil
3pm
same as 10am+apple
6pm
chicken breast+veg+30g rice
10pm
pwo shake+banana
11.30pm
300g cottage cheese
totals protein=230grams carbs=around 150-200grams fats=50grams
also included is a multi vit and 1 gram of vit c and ephedrine
does this look ok?
im thinking i will need to add more protein as i get nearer the comp and drop carbs further!
many thanks in advance

I would start with moving some of those late carbs into the earlier meals. My carbs are usually in the first two meals and that's it. For the rest of the day that come either indirectly from fats or from veggies.

well this is hotley debated subject.......id say at that time of night not essential at all!,,,and even any other time of the day some people will say to always take complex carbs not simple carbs with your protein.......but for you at that time of night i would do pro/fat i.e whey and EVOO or Udos oil........
def head to the diet section also, you will get alot of help over there........im no expert but that diet doesnt look good at all for someone getting ready for a comp!...Fireguy1 is the guy to look for in the diet section for competition dieting.....good luck
