when to apply protan

when do you apply protan before a show? the morning of? i was also planning on using dermablend to cover up a couple tattoos i have.

This what i suggest: keeping in mind your show is Saturday.

The week before..every night in the shower, make sure your hair free and loofah your body!

Thursday night apply a thick coat...and leave to dry. I prefer to do this in the tub; protan will stain.
And, sleep on sheets you don't care for (this shit won't come out)
Friday morning take a quick rinse (no soap or scrubbing).
Friday night after weigh ins.....another light coat to even out as well. To wake up even...my trick is after its dried and before bed I use noxema (light) all over and when I wake up..bam...streaks are gone.

DO NOT rinse
No need to apply to even...the Dream Tan will do that for you.

And be sure to apply a coat of Dream Tan that morning. Than when you arrive at the event..you'll just need a touch up with Dream Tan, and any Muscle Sheen your going to use. (easy on this...the glare sometimes hinders the muscles and its hard for the judge to see)

If you don't like the dark face look....Try these steps; take a moisturizer and spray some Protan in palm of hand, mix...and apply that way to my face and blend well into neck.

Take all your products with you....sweating on stage may cause your color to run and you'll need touch ups through out the day. Take your own towel as well to lay down in between categories. And wear loose clothing.

Kawigirl put it perfectly. be SURE to bring your own sheets, at my last show had to bapy $375 for new sheets because a little spot of pro tan got onto the hotel sheets, would suggest u just sleep on a plastic sheet haha
