9 weeks from first men physique comp

Hey guys, i am doing my first show oct. 19 and was just looking for a bit of knowledge from a few ppl that have competed in physique. Stats are 6 ft, 209, around 7 % bf. I have pretty much done all diet and training routine myself which i am very comfortable with doing. My biggest concern is how should i properly diet these last 8 weeks or so and honestly, what the hell do the judges look for? I was at a show last night and the two guys that won the largest shows in my state finished 2nd and 3rd behind someone that i feel should have not been top 5. That said, i have had some ppl say i will come in to large for physique but the pro's i see all seem to be somewhere around 180 and up. That said, any and all info would be much appreciated. Cycle is on point and diet is working but would love some tips. thanks for all who reply

Thanks alot buddy, i bust my ass. I am just concerned with what the judges are looking for and honestly the last 8 weeks of my diet. MY "coach" although a winner of multiple shows isn't much help if you know what i mean. More less he just says, keep your carbs under 50 for the next 3 days and lets see how you look. Literally, i need more than that

If your goal is to keep getting leaner then carry on doing what has already been working.....

Man the judges can be all over the place. It's such an individual eye. There is criteria to look for. Go the the NPC website.

The more lean mass grainy veiny and ripped you are the better you will do.

FYI you're not 7% yet. Keep on with your diet.

Hey buddy, i agree my bf isn't at 7. The guy that tested me wasn't the most competent person in the world and calipers are a bit off. That being said, my diet is literally changed daily. It varies but same base foods are always incorporated. What would u recommend cape on cardio? Supps changed over today until show time, just not going to compete. That's not my mentality. I can accept defeat from a competitor that has put in the work to do the job, i can not accept defeat because of myself......unacceptable
