Just do that and your registry will be fvcked up forever, till at least you format your drive again.
1. What is your operating system?
2. What about the speed of your hard drive? How many rpm? 5200, 5400, 7200, 10000...?
3. What is the amount of RAM you have got on your machine?

Check out your msconfig...you can easily get a speed boost by simply stopping startup programs from starting up. If you could get a pic of your startup then I could help you out with it

To stop programs from startup you will have to go into your start menu and run. From there a small box will open and you can put msconfig in there.

^ There are many computers that owners have that have useless stuff powering up in there startup and I see it all the time, If I could get a picture of his startup list then I would know what to stop and what not too to prevent stopping something that was needed. Your start menu is the icon at the bottom left hand of your screen.

You wrote you have a Dell.
Then, you also must have a service tag number.
Locate it on your hard drive using windows explorer which you find on your start menu/programs/accessories. Click on windows explorer and locate your hard drive (C, find a folder named Dell and open it. Inside of it you can read a file named service tag.
Get that number, made by letters also, and go on:
http://support.euro.dell.com/support...b=2&~ck=anavml
Insert the service tag and you will have a list of the hardware installed on you system.
Copy and paste it on here but remember not to paste the service tag otherwise it is like writing your first and last name.
If you are unable to find your service tag, look at the label attached on your system case, if you have a desktop, or on your laptop.
There, you can read the name of your operating system as well as your service tag.

Exactly ... first of all download the Trial version of kaspersky and run a deep scan of ur system. If you do not have an antivirus then install it if you have then let me know which one you have.
Once it cleans the computer then.
Download the 'CCleaner' yeah its CCleanear (2 C's) and do all the things it ask you to. Simple.
Even if it does not work then PM me.
