On your cheat day!
(Alright guys, this is not as in cheating on your woman, but as in your diet. )
I am doing a poll here to see what you guys normally do on your cheat day. Do you basically just cheat on one meal or make the entire day a free for all!
I just wanna kinda get a feel for what you guys do!

I try to only have one cheat meal on my cheat day, but lately that hasnt been happening.... ....I gotta really buckle down on limit my cheat day to one or maybe 2 small cheat meals

What is a cheat day? Heck during the hoildays I had cheat weeks!LOL
Actually I'm pretty good about watching what I eat during the week and limit the no, no's to only during the weekend. Either Sat. or Sunday depending on my schedule.

The longer you cal count the more you find that you stop doing it,I have not cal counted since Dec and have the odd cheat meal here and there which is once every 2 weeks or so but I,m leaner and weigh more for not cal counting!

I really try not to cheat during the week at all, but if I do its only on one meal. But on the weekend if I cheat a little bit, I feel really bad about myself and I say "fuck it", and go all out but then after I feel like shit and really hate myself. But this is gonna have to change since I'm starting my pre-contest diet on March 21, so I'll be 12 weeks out from the show. Its gonna be a fucking nightmare.

I usually eat perfect mon-fri. Then on the weekends I eat pretty good, watching just about everything I eat. I'm not as strict on the weekends, gotta live a bit, but I wont just go wild and destroy all the hard work over the week.

cheat meal once a week...usually save it so that i can take the lady out to dinner. Would rather cheat on a meal and make her happy at the same time. Nearing the end of my dieting down..say I am dieting for 12 weeks..so the last 3-4 weeks..i do my best not to have a cheat meal. But I will take a chocolate chip cookie in....

used to go nuts and plan my shit out in advance...ok box of raisen bran crunch for breaky, peanut butter and jelly toast for snack, go out to dinner, chili's- burger and fries, or Claim Jumper- big ass damn burger and fries...then ice cream at coldstone creamery...used to do this like every sunday...I basically ate myself sick, then it took me till like Wednesday to feel back to where I was before that Sunday gorge. I don't do that anymore...now I'll have a cheat meal, or a cheat desert, or just eat more healthy food than I normally would, I love to eat. I found that not having a whole cheat day has worked out better for me, since when I do cheat and eat something bad it just sparks my evil taste buds and I can't stop myself...

Hell there is no such thing as a "cheat meal." I too like to cheat big, if im going to do it im going to do it right.
I go all out, on shit that i been eye ballin, but staying away from. Tweenkies, Dingdongs,(hostess dingdongs)pizza, and even some healthier stuff like, turkey burgers with fat free cheese. Low carb burrito's. yada yada yada. which reminds me.. I got to go now

I'm an ectomorph, so I hardly ever worry about putting on extra pounds; thus, I eat whatever the hell I want on cheat days! (except for soda, I NEVER drink soda, always 10 or more glasses of water a day, at the most a DIET soda)

Our cheat days are all planned out and the night before cheat day is like christmas to us. We can't wait to go to sleep and wake up so we can eat. We're with Tobey on the cheat weeks it sounds like a good idea to Us!!!!!

Cheat day is the WHOLE DAY. Does any one out there eat steamed chicken with rice on their cheat day?
I'm with Mike XXL on the whole Ice Cream thing. I am a HUGE fan of Ben and Jerry's Penut-butter cup ice cream. It has large pieces of Reeces penutbutter cups in it.
And well the all you can eat Chinese Buffet if my favorite place to hang out and just shove calories in my face!!!!

A few things Pheedno grubs on during the cheat day
Lamb and Yorkshire pudding- homemade(shit is so damn good)
Fetuccini Alfredo- nothing but homemade
Oatmeal, chocalate chip, and butterscotch cookies- homemade
Chocalate Raspberry Truffel ice cream-Godiva
7 layer dip- homemade- I could eat 5 gallons of this shit
Fried catfish and hush puppies- caught on the dock and fried at home
Big fat ass hamburger- Tookies(Houston members might know this place)
2lbs. of fajitas-Pappasitos
Whole lotta beer
Whole lotta Crown
4a.m. IHOP Big country breakfast
And every once in a while I'll stop off and get 20 Tacos from Jack and the Box

some times I just gotta have it
I stick pretty close to my diet all the time, but once in a blue moon I will crave Cheesecake or Pancakes, or something that I haven't eaten in months....I just eat it and move on.....my BF is the lowest it has been and my weight is consistent.......Problem is, I don't know that I feel completely guilt free.
I quit smoking a a couple years ago- after 18 years smoking- and I get a guilty feeling if I "sneak a snickers" as if I had a cigarette...and you know it's a slippery slope between one cigarette and an o2 tank.
I wonder if a cheat day and 100% discipline outside of that might be more enjoyable.

Cheat days aren't for health! You do it so that you have something to look forward to in your diet at the end of the week. Sort of like a reward for your hard work. It doesn't keep you healthy, but it certainly keeps you "healthy" in a psychological aspect.
