PWO shake, fat free yogurt or regular for carbs?

If you cant get ahold of any dex you can use jello mix. it contains dextrose itself. just mix it with cold water instead and use about half the amount of water on the directions.
I was having a hard time finding some dextose too but if you call any home brewery store they carry tons of it.

You can use yogurt for PPWO but I wouldn't even use it for that personally.

I get a low carbyogurt, about 9g carbs total 6g sugar, and use that and 1 1/2 or 2 bannanas for good carbs. The stuff is great, like a great smoothy.

For PPWO there is no reason for low carb yogurt. You want carbs PPWO, and anything low carb usually has extra fat added or uses a sweetener which is not what you want. The banana would be ok I guess if you don't want to be strict, but honestly neither is a good choice

Dextrose is the numero uno choice for replenishing glycogen levels. Fructose and refined sugar only replace liver glycogen.

Uh, that's a negative there. The body will metabolize sucrose and fructose into glucose(dextrose) and polymerize it into glycogen to be stored in the muscles as well.

    I was being sarcastic. Sorry!

Your body can metabolize all carbohydrates into glucose/glycogen if needed.
