PPWO Meal late at night
am i correct in thinking the PPWO meal should consist of complex carbs + protein?
But what if you work out late at night, do u really need complex carbs if you are going to be going to bed an hour or so later?
I am in bed 2 and a half hours after my workout, should i try and squeeze in a PPWO meal of oatmeal and 30g whey, in between my PWO meal and final meal?
it looks like this:
7pm - 40g whey 60g dextrose
8pm - oatmeal, 30g whey
9.30pm - 6 whites one yolk
this is what i have been doin, but it seems pointless consuming oatmeal late at night and i'm not sure i can digest all this protein in such a short period?
should i forget the PPWO meal?

If you have done weight training that has torn apart muscle tissue in an intense all out bout in the gym, you NEED pwo nutrition in both forms no matter what the time of day, nor what your planned activities to follow are.

Check the cuttting sticky atop the page for what you'd want to on the cardio only days as far as eating all day.

here is the meal guide from the "How to cut diet" sticky
Meal 1:
Lean Protein, 1/2 cup oatmeal
Meal 2:
Protein shake/Lean Protein (2 tbsp flax
Meal 3:
Veggies, Lean Protein
Workout
Meal 4:
PWO Nutrition
Meal 5:
Veggies, Lean Protein, 1/2 cup rice or oatmeal.
Meal 6:
Shake with Flax
meal 4 states PWO nutriton which i believe is 30 - 60g whey and double the amount of dextrose
and meal 5 lists oatmeal ,i know its only half a cup, but this has still left me confused

you should aim for a starchy carb like sweet patatoes/potatoes for PPWO. oatmeal is too slow digesting for this meal from what i gatherd from the board.
