I mix 1.5c non-fat cottage cheese with 3 packets of equal, and a little cinnamin....taste great. Also sometimes I use 1Tbs Natural penaut butter instead of the cinnamin.

try light jam, i like "Smuckers" strawberry flavour, i use about 1 1/2 teaspoons with about 1 cup of fat free cottage cheese, it only adds about 3 gm of carbs to the cottage and it tastes pretty good...but then again i am dieting so anything that's moving looks good to me....road kill...F*** i'd eat it...MIKE_XXL

Try adding caraway seeds, and /or some tarragon, parsley; mix and let sit so the flavours come out of the herbs. That with a pear can be a tasty combination.
The additions will differ according to your desire to gain or lose weight. If losing, add no salt or sugar; if gaining....add whipped cream, sweet sauces, etc., all the things dieters are warned against.
I've just discovered the pleasure of raspberry vinagrette with fresh asparagus and basmati rice (served cold)- maybe a bit exotic, but an exciting change for me at least. A cottage cheese substitution for the rice would work too.Last edited by malahat; 04-19-2002 at 01:13 AM.

Straight for a quick protein hit. for a more complete meal, wholemeal pasta, salmon and shreaded lettuce. Also good to add to a standard stir fry to bump up the protein values.
