looks good. i would suggest trying to lean meats as well as protein shakes, and i'd also be interested as to what kind of protein the protein shakes you are suggesting are composed of. i'd skip the peanut butter personally. stick to olive oil and flax. a good rule when cutting also........cut out milk. doesn't matter if it's skim, it still contains all the processed sugars as usual, and i suggest cutting out milk even if it's in its raw state and not processed, it won't really help in cutting. just buy a calcium supplement if you are worried about that.
Great sources, yes, and the peanut butter (all natural) is totally fine as well.Originally Posted by Hugh-Hefner's-Son
However, the minute you add milk you f*ck it all up.
Check the carbs in milk..............all sugar, all of them.

I completely agree with you Swole, however I find that milk makes my bones strong and dense. I don't want to cut milk totally out of my diet. Is there any clean or safe way to implement milk into a diet.
I just finished reading Arnold's guide to modern bodybuilding and one thing that is stressed is the importance and benifits of milk.
I almost forgot, and I hate to referance articles, but check this out

There's more calcium in brocolli per serving than that of milk.Originally Posted by Hugh-Hefner's-Son
As well, a complete nutritional approach is entirely possible w/out the inclusion of milk, and in addition to this complete approach, brocolli, etc., you can even supplement with a multi and additional calcium/minerals to fill in any possible gaps.
Very simple.

That's neat how you have the ability to actually feel your bones!
Do as you need to, it's your approach.

Okay, I will never drink milk again....unless it's for my special brownies....![]()
U can have milk if you want, bottom line. However, if you are serious about cutting and are going to be consuming a lot of shakes, utilizing milk in these would not be a wise idea.
That's the general gist of what I'm trying to offer to you.

In the words of the great Arnold: "Milk is for babies, real men drink beer"
True, I understand the flaws with milk, it has just been in my diet for so long that Ive become attatched to it. However, I am dedicating myslef to cutting and will slowly make the adjustments towards perfection....thanks guys !!

Doesnt regular milk (not 2% or anything, just reg. milk) not have any carbs?
All milk has carbs (lactose = milk sugar) no matter if it's full fat, reduced, skim, etc.

Milk is the devil........resist the temptation.....
It's not the devil bro, but when I used to make all my shakes w/milk ages ago, thinking I knew what I was doing, it's no wonder all my hard work to get lean was going about 3/4 for naught. 3 shakes a day with milk add up and don't enable you to change much at all when things get to where you need to be impeccable.
Better to start out with the winning hand from the get go, then to hope you draw the right card.
