Just wanted to pass along some info…I have owned about four GF grills over the last five years…My present one was getting extremely hard to clean, the non stick coating was sticking. I went from this one (sold at target for $25)
To this one for $40 and even included a free toaster!:
The new grill is the same width, but about twice as long. For a regular frozen chicken breast, my old grill cooked in 8 minutes. For the new grill, I opened it up and the edges of the chicken were raw! Took 16 minutes till it was done(The was preheated for 20 minutes…So, I either bought a lemon, or they use the exact same heating element for both grills. Since the newer grill has twice as much surface area to heat, it doubles the cooking time…
Lesson learned: Save the box and receipt.
