I know you're suppose to get a lot of carbs PWO, and most people like to use dextrose, but would a simple sugar drink like Powerade be OK? Unfortunately, the 1st ingredient is high fructose corn syrup, but hey, the 2nd ingredient is maltodextrin!
The reason I ask is because my PWO protein shake only has 20g of complex carbs and 1g of simple carbs. I wanted to suppliment it with a mini Powerade that has 25g of sugar.
