this question is wayy to vague.
The types of carbs you take in all depends on when you train and do cardio etc etc....
White potato is a simple carb?? News to me.
They are both extremely good sources of healthy, complex carbs. Certain species of white potato have a higher GI. If it is the PPWO meal then either will do very nicely. For other times opt for the lower GI sweet potato.

Complex carbs are better for managing BF, but if you eat too much of any kind of carb you'll gain fat, whether its starchy or sugary.
