mayo is fine. its just oil and egg.
I wouldnt use it every meal, but its ok to use once a day.
I see no problem with it at all..... as long as you are getting your EFAs in atleast a couple other meals there is nothing wrong with using other sources of fat. And mayo isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be IMO
Getting all your fat from EFAs is a bad idea, having too much in your diet is just as bad as having too little.
I am glad someone else says the same thing. I know there are some on this board that go all EFA's which I think it ridiculous. Keep in mind saturated fat is part of a number of hormonal functions with one of them being testosterone regulation/production.Originally Posted by longhornDr

so.. besides the flax oil an natural peanut butter im using.. i need something fatty like ranch dressing or mayonaise? tell me what u use
I use a variety of fats never the same each day. Beef, Eggs, Bacon, Cheese, Ranch, Butter, Mayo, anything not containing Trans Fats. Now dont make these the staple of your diet, be sure to include plenty of EFA's, but dont shy away from them in moderation because of their role in a number of metabolic processes.Originally Posted by HiFi

I have 2 tbsp of Mayo a day (2 meals that contain tuna) and i also of course have my EFA's.
is mayo ok in a cuttin diet?
Dont know what kind of ranch you got bro but mine is 2g Carb/servingOriginally Posted by muriloninja
Your body does require some sat fats, not all efa's
My first pro/fat meal is often eye of round steak with brocc...
its very lean, 190grams on the foreman grill comes out to 55 protein and 9 fat.
My other 2 pro fat meals are typically chicken with some olive oil in a salad, and my shake before bed (either casein or whey with natty pb or flax oil)
My ranch has less than 1 gram of sugar.
Love ranch!
