God no!...how do you think people get fat? it's from all those green beans they eat with chicken and olive oil.

Of course this is not a huge salad, i actually get it at Arby's and just have them put grilled chicken on it. I have been doing this once a week, kinda switches things up.
And of course you wanna make sure to include greens in your diet, especially fiber rich veggies.
in the cutting sticky it says to have a meal of just protein and veggies/ but i dont see many of you taking that approach so that is why i asked. also you say your eating cheese and bacon in your diet. is this while your cutting?
Yeah, i am cutting..but remember i said this is maybe once a week if at all. I use it just to switch things up from time to time. I never have just a pro/veg meal...does it say that? I cannot remember off the top of my head.Quote:

i wouldnt use cheese as a fat in my pro.fat meals...
D, why not? I use full fat american cheese in my omelettes and I'm cutting and haven't seen any ill effects whatsoever in the past couple of weeks. In fact, I'm still cutting up. About 10 g of fat and less than 1 g of carbs (meaning, none of those lactic sugars that make you all puffy and also, it keeps the "pro/fat" label intact, if you know what I mean). Swolecat and bigs actually mentioned full-fat cheese on another thread around here and the benefits of using it in pro/fat meals. But that's the only "dairy" product I'll ever go near--cutting or not. The rest of that stuff is just filled with carbs and nastiness that I'd rather not mention.
Let me know :afro:
I see no problem with it personally but i cannot stress enough how little of it is on this salad and i do not make this a habit.
I would never even think to include cheese into a cutting diet on a normal basis.
Lean Protein can = something like steak which alone is a pro/fat meal. I mix veggies in with one of my pro/fat meals daily. The carbs in veggies really don't make a difference simply b/c they are mostly fiber and don't do anything to blood sugar levels.Quote:

Real cheese rules.

I've heard you mention "real" cheese b4. What do you mean by that?

cheese can be implemented in a cutting diet as was said, the key is to make sure you are balancing out your overall lipid profile with healthier fats throughout the day. I personally love swiss and cheddar on my egg whites.
Real cheese = real cheese.
No processed cheese "food", no low-fat or non-fat cheese, just real full fat cheese.
(has no carbs/sugars/etc.)

For example a piece of "ementaler"?
old cheddar cheese?
what about all the saturated fat in real cheese?
Fromunder cheese?
That's not a problem. You need saturated fats. Incorporating them into a pro/fat meal is the best way to go.Quote:
