    Are carb loads a necicity?

I workout everyother day. Half the body each time. I have all my daily carbs pwo for a total of about 120 carbs. The off days are cardio only in am, I have 0 carbs those days and incorporate a few different meals like chicken wings or something. Are carb load days a necicity if workout are ok. I know a carb load would give me more energy but I want the best results I can get over the next 4 months.

No, carb loads are not a necesity. Some people choose to do them on their cheat day but you do not have to. If You were to carb up on a sunday you could have a Pro/Carb meal every other meal..

I find that i have to have carbs on lifting days as I will not have strenght if i have pro/fat means on lifting days. Leave the pro/fat days for non lifting days. That what has worked for me best.

That is a horrible dietary approach IMO...

I wouldn't gain 1/2 as fast if i took a ketogenic approach to my dieting, and i know that for a fact.

I knew some people agreed with me... I tried going Keto and training I could not lift as heavy I felt weaker and the gains were slower.

I am feeling great as long as I get the 100-120 carbs post workout. I seem to be more motivoted while cutting, go figure.

    Carbs...

So how often should you take in carbs on an off day?

On workout days i take in carbs 3-4 times: With breakfast (oats), then my third meal preWO I take in some brown rice/pro. Then PWO I have a whey shake(waiting for my dextrose to ship in), then PPWO I have brown rice/pro or some other valuable Carb.

    All other meals are pro/fat.

On my off days i'm thinking I should only take in carbs once/twice - with breakfast, and possibly my meal before the evening (3-5pm). What do you guys think?

P.S. My current goal is bulking without too much fat retention. Basically want to keep current BF% - or even lower it a bit while gaining muscle.
