This should help those who are cutting..

Heres a little something I put together:

Diet and cardio are the 2 most important elements to shedding body fat. Its important that when you decide to start cutting you do cardio 5-7 days a week, in the morning on an empty stomach for 45-60 minutes. Your heart rate should remaind between 60-70%.

On Cardio/Lifting days diet goes as follows:

    General Guidelines to follow:
    -Get plenty of sleep
-Drink at least 1.5 gallons of water a day
    -Don't combine fat/carbs
    -Don't eat protein alone
    -Don't have carbs before bed
    -Have protein shakes with water
    -Don't have sugars

    *Before Cardio Take Glutamine
**Take your ECA/ECY/Thermo now if you choose to do so

    Cardio 45-60mins

    m1(approx 30-40 mins after cardio):
Pro/Fat: 1 6-8oz piece of lean meat or egg whites/1oz almonds(usually 28 almonds). Thats about 50g of protein/15g of fat.

m2:Pro/Fat Lean Meat, 2 tablespoons of natural peanut butter. Approx. 50g of protein and 15g of fat.

m3: Pro/Fat 2 Scoops of whey and 1 tablespoon flaxseed oil. Approx. 50g of Protein and 15g of fat.

    -workout-

m4(PWO): 1 scoop of whey, 1/3 cup of dextrose. Approx. 25g protein/50g carb

m5(PPWO): 6-8oz Lean Meat(NOT STEAK OR SALMON), and half a cup of brown rice. Approx 50 protein/35carb

m6(before bed): 2 scoops whey, 1 teaspoon glutamine powder, 1 tablespoon of flaxseed oil.

Cardio Only Days (Follow the food outline from above for your sources of EFA's(essential fatty acids) and protein:

    Cardio 45-60mins
    m1: Pro/Fat
    m2: Pro/Fat
    m3: Pro/Fat (optional Pro/Carb)
    m4: Pro/Fat
    m5: Pro/Fat

    Lifting Only Days:

    m1: Pro/Fat
    m2: Pro/Fat
    m3: Pro/Fat
    -Workout-
    m4(PWO): Pro/Dex
    m5(PPWO): Pro/Carb
    m6: Pro/Fat

Your source of protein can be chicken, tuna, lean ground beef, turkey or egg whites(eggs). Steak and salmon can also be used but not in PPWO meal.

Cheat one meal, once a week don’t overdue it.

    Great post...I have one question..

    You say:
**Take your ECA/ECY/Thermo now if you choose to do so
    (Before cardio)

Does this apply to clen ? I've heard that clen can mess with your breathing and mess up your cardio session if taken beforehand..

I just tried some of my friends clen the other day to see how it would make me react. Everything went well and I have a bottle on the way.

Does NOT apply to clen. Clen should be taken after your cardio otherwise you run the risk of having bad breathing problems while doing cardio.

Do you think a pro carb meal for meal 1 would be ok?1/2 cup of oats.

Yes if you must. However wait 45 mins to an hour after your cardio.

Also don't take it right before lifting... the same breathing problems can occur

Nice post bro. JW why you shouldn't eat a pro only meal while cutting. And does this apply when bulking too?

Because then your body will be using the protein for energy.

If I were to follow that diet how should I adjust my training. e.g do I stop my set before I reach failure becuase im not getting as much food etc to recover. Or do I continue to train as I would while bulking ?

Lose the glutamine, unless you have some left you just want to use up. It does nothing.

When i cheat, i cheat one big meal and when i'm done with that meal.. I leave it all on the table. Meaning the cheating is done after that meal. Some people like to have a lot more on their cheat day but I do not.

For me, 85 grams of carbs is WAY too low unless I'm in the last final 2 weeks of a diet. I like to cycle my carbs, I have a moderate carb day, low carb day, moderate being 200-250 grams, low being around 100-150. I can hardly get out of bed when my carbs are that low, I feel like a walking zombie all day. But if it works for you, then sweet.

Well like I said, this is only a cutting diet primer/outline. It doesn't have to be followed exactly. The foods that are there for each meal are to give you an idea as to what to eat and when.
