Ok, so I recieved my dextrose in the mail. I know everyone says a 2:1 dextrose:protein shake mixture for PWO.
Is that much dex really neccesary? I put 90g's in my 45-50g whey shake and that was by far the sweetest/most disgusting thing i've ever put down my throat :lol: :banana: Now I think i'm on a dextrose high, i'm ****in wired!
yes it will be very sweet....what i do is have my protein at 22g and my dex 44 which isnt as many carbs and isnt nearly as sweet (tastes very good actually). Some people like more dex, but i am cutting so i am using less.
Yes, 2:1 is best....
The dex. makes the most disgusting whey taste half decent lol..
i prefer whey on itself actually. the sweetness kills me. but if that's what needs to be done then 90g's of dex it is

You bunch of girly men, i love having my PWO shake..its the sweetest thing i get to have while cutting.
I use ON Strawberry Whey Protein and of course Dex, what a nice combination.
