1 glass of regular coke isn't going to destroy your diet

i would much rather have some type of cheat food instead of sh!tty empty cals from soda....

i would just use crystal light and other diet beverages.

    You're kidding right?

Yes, regular soda WILL destroy a serious cutting diet.

Even one glass is idiotic if one is half-way serious. May as well eat sugar by the spoonful.

If you were half-way serious as you put it, you'd be able to burn off those calories and worthless carbs without any effort!
See its easy to make broad statements, I drink regular coke all the time, but being an ecto it doesn't stick to me at all. So before you go saying someone elses opinion is idiotic, vs your own opinion, you should consider not everyone's metabolism is equal...

40 grams of sugar per can bro thats almost your full daily value of sugar. A few things that soda can do: contribute to hypoglycemia leading to diabetes (if sweetened with sugar or corn syrup); neutralize your stomach acid - contributing to indigestion/acid reflux; make you toxic if it contains aspartame (migraines being one of the many symptoms); contribute to calcium loss and excretion due to high phosphoric acid content; contribute to a host of caffeine related problems; make you dehydrated from drinking a hypertonic solution and not drinking enough water. Is that enough yet? Some of these might not rear their ugly heads until a person is older and it is too late so dont take it for granted that it doesent harm you yet because for all you know it may be just around the corner...

And on another note Swole was serious and why worry about burning off those empty calories when you dont even have to consume them in the first place?

Doesn't matter what kind of metabolism you have and "IF" you can get away with it.

The principal is IDIOTIC. I've no issues saying it.
