i eat at least a pound of ground beef a day. depending on finances, it could be anywhere from 80-95% lean. i always wash it under the faucet till all the grease is gone. does anyone know if this might wash some of the protien away as well?

i wouldn't worry about washing away the protein...you'll wash away some of the fat (probably not all, but a good amount) and be left with a lean source of protein
i do this from time to time as well...
