    Sugar Alcohol

does the body 'see' sugar alcohol the same way it 'sees' regular sugar? does 2 grams of sugar = 2 grams of sugar alcohol?

i dont think sugar alcohol is the sam as sugar because in sugar free gum there is 2 grams of suga alcohol and it labels it as zero sugar so i guess its nothing (not 100 percent sure tho)

Try searching on the internet about Aspartame. MY god no one agrees at all. some say it will make you feel like you are dying, others say its completely safe.

I spent time today researching this for us, but i cannot say with any confidence if it raises blood sugar or not.

I have read it creates a insulin response but doesnt directly raise your insulin levels.

it seems to be agreed that all diabetics can eat it, but some get extreme sideeffects,

so i would have to say no it does not raise the Slin levels.

Its a raging issue on the internet. Im sure we would know by now if we had the disorder associated with the side effects.

check out more than one page though, no one will agree heh
