I found a full bottle of cold pressed flax oil in the back of my fridge and the expiry date is January '05. Can flax go bad or can I use this?

If it was in the fridge it's probably okay.
Taste it and see if it's turned, you'll be able to tell.

Since flax tastes like $hit, what does it taste like if it's bad? Chocolate?
Nope, sh*t that has spoiled.
So, spoiled sh*t.

YES.. YES IT CAN GO BAD!
i assure you.. YOU WILL KNOW when you taste it.. like if nuts had a sour taste to them... well... ITS WORSE THAN THAT![]()
Should I be keeping my flax seed oil gel caps in the fridge instead of on my counter?
No, they'll be fine because they are in the capsule.Originally Posted by 63190
If its still good use it to make mayonaise. I have never done this myself, but I think you owe this to the other board members, just in the interest of science.Originally Posted by bad_man
