Yams would be a better choice IMO... It is a proccessed food, and does not occure in nature.

ps. if I am eating potatoes It,s for the carbs...why would you want low carb potatoes???

they have about 18g of carbs per half cup - i bought them because my girlfrien wanted then and i figured i would give em a try. they werent to bad but i think i am going to stick with the brown rice and yams....the potatoes get kinda addicting and i over ate a tad....(had about 2 or 3 cups)

    HUH?

    Low carb potatoes?

As well, when the goal is to have CARBS, why use a low-carb product?

    Confused........but no biggie to me.

well its not my first choice but i figured i would give them a try and by eating the amount that i did, it gave me enough carbs that my body required PPWO.

just wanted to know if they were considered a clean carb.

p.s. dude your shoulders look like 2 rocks sitting below your neck....nice !!!!!

Ahhh, gotcha. Well, if it's a low carb product, even if you ate the required amount for your PPWO, I'd say it's not a good choice of a carb for that meal.
It's probably very high in fiber (not good for PWO of any kind) and/or the carbs that it does have are not optimal for glycogen replinishment.

why is it that fiber not good PWO? is it because it slows down the digestion and you want to be able to digest the carbs at a fast rate?

Yes, that is the reason. I like fiber, but at OTHER times of the day.
