    Cheating after lifting?

For some reasons sometimes when i get done lifting I really crave something sweet... What is the difference between eating 80g of fat free frozen yogurt instead of dextrose? Im just saying as kind of a cheat thing. Only 1-2 a week. Would it be better to cheat after you lift b/c your body needs so many nutrients to start recoving?

I would still be taking 44g protein

Dextrose is sweet, what is wrong with that?

It will hinder what you're trying to do if you substitute w/ frozen yogurt.

I would cheat on your days off, but that's just me.

It's not going to make any difference unless you are on a competitive level. I wouldnt consider that cheating as long as the macros come out the same.

I know cheating is essential but I wanted to minimize the effects of it.... What i was thinking is that if i moved my cheating meal to PWO it wouldnt have the same effect..

you will actually do better if you cheat... a human body will get used to what your doing to it (homeostasis) u need to change things to keep your metabolism up...

Correct me if i am wrong but dosent 80g of fat free yogurt have about 20g of carbs. If you have to go for the yogurt drop 20g off the dextrose and have that aswell. 20grams of carbs PWO is just a waist of your effort.

Protein and dex is just like cheating for me. It's actually motivation for me to go to the gym.

If anything, I would cheat during your PPWO meal. Ensure that you still include your protein requirements in the meal.
